Michael Martin Murphey Two Step Is Easy Lyrics

Listen to the band that's playin', darling

How can you sit there blue all night long

Listen to what the man is sayin', darling

It's a 'dance with me and you'll be alright' song

The two-step is easy

But the first step is hard

If you don't learn to shuffle

Hearts is a tough game of cards

The two-step is easy

But the first step is rough

But once you start dancin'

You can't dance enough

One, one two three

Stay close to me, darling

The hardest part is just to start to live again

Don't count your steps

Just count your blessings, darling

And in time you will find you're giving in

The two-step is easy

But the first step is hard

If you don't learn to shuffle

Hearts is a tough game of cards

The two-step is easy

But the first step is rough

But once you start dancin'

You can't dance enough

The two-step is easy

But the first step is hard

If you don't learn to shuffle

Hearts is a tough game of cards

The two-step is easy

But the first step is rough

But once you start dancin'

You can't dance enough
